Sovereignty Council: RSF Drones Target Civilian Facilities in White Nile

Sudan’s Sovereignty Council reported that RSF drones launched attacks at dawn on Sunday against the Um Dabaker power station, fuel depots in White Nile State, and Kananah civilian airport.

The Council said in a statement: “Just hours after the Quartet’s call for peace and an end to the war, the RSF carried out new acts of destruction, deploying suicide drones against civilian infrastructure vital to the Sudanese people. The attacks targeted the Um Dabaker power station, fuel depots, and Kananah civilian airport.”

The statement condemned the strikes as part of a systematic campaign against Sudan’s infrastructure. “This criminal aggression, along with previous attacks, adds to the long list of war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by this terrorist militia, whose destructive conduct continues under suspicious regional and international silence,” it said.

“The war is directed against the Sudanese people, who alone will decide its outcome,” the Council added.
