The Sudanese Armed Forces and allied groups repelled the 243rd assault by the Rapid Support Forces on El-Fasher on Thursday, inflicting heavy losses.
According to journalist Muzammil Abu al-Qasim, the army seized 15 combat vehicles, destroyed 25 others, and killed more than 100 RSF fighters. Operations are ongoing to pursue fleeing militia elements and secure the western sector, including clearing RSF remnants from the former UNAMID camp.
