The Sixth Infantry Division in El Fasher reported on Monday that the city had experienced intermittent artillery fire from Rapid Support Forces (RSF), targeting several neighborhoods, but confirmed no civilian casualties.
In a press briefing, the division emphasized that the situation remains under control, morale is high, and the troops are more united than ever.
The division reassured the people of Sudan, particularly residents of El Fasher, that its forces remain steadfast and resistant to rebellion.
The division also expressed condolences to the people of North Darfur and the families of Mohamed Abdallah Adam Khater and his wife, who were killed by the RSF in the Al-Safiya Mosque massacre last Friday, praying for mercy, forgiveness, and salvation for all victims.
