Sudan: Customs Dollar Rate Reduced

Former head of the Importers’ Chamber, Hashim Al-Fadil, revealed that the authorities have reduced the customs dollar rate from 2,600 SDG to 2,486 SDG.

In remarks to Al-Ahdath, Al-Fadil criticized the decision to set the customs dollar higher than the official bank rate, noting that on Thursday the Bank of Khartoum was buying dollars at 2,400 SDG and selling at 2,418 SDG.
