Prime Minister: Former PM Eila Served His Country with Sincerity and Dedication

Prime Minister Kamil Idris said on Tuesday that former Sudanese Prime Minister the late Mohamed Taher Eila had served his country with sincerity and dedication.

Idris, accompanied by Minister of Cabinet Affairs Lamia Abdel Ghaffar, offered condolences to Eila’s family.

During his meeting with the late leader’s family, the Prime Minister expressed his deep sorrow at the loss of one of Sudan’s prominent national figures, who had contributed significantly to the country’s governance through various executive and leadership roles.

He emphasized that Eila had performed his duties with integrity and discipline, embodying love for Sudan and devotion to public service.

Idris said the late Eila left behind an administrative and developmental legacy to be proud of, particularly during his tenure as Governor of the Red Sea State and later as Prime Minister.

He added that Eila had always worked with a high sense of patriotism, placing citizens’ welfare above all else, and that his memory would remain alive in the hearts of Sudanese people.

The Prime Minister concluded that the current government regards Eila’s legacy as part of Sudan’s public service history and that honoring his memory means continuing his sincere efforts to build the nation and fulfill the people’s aspirations for stability and development.
