
The Sudanese Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Kamal Idris, approved several agreements during its Sunday session in Port Sudan, including the Cybercrimes Amendment Bill 2025 presented by the Minister of Justice.
According to Cabinet Secretary-General Ambassador Ali Mohamed Ali, the session also endorsed international agreements related to the protection of cultural property, as well as memorandums of understanding between Sudan and Russia in cultural cooperation, and between China Media Group and the Sudanese Broadcasting Corporation.
The Prime Minister briefed the cabinet on his recent visit to Eritrea, expressing gratitude to the Eritrean government and people for their “unwavering support” and hospitality toward Sudanese citizens.
The council praised the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism and the General Intelligence Service for their significant efforts in recovering looted cultural assets.
