HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, chaired a Cabinet session in Riyadh and approved authorizing Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan or his delegate to negotiate with Sudan on establishing a Saudi-Sudanese Coordination Council and sign the agreement, as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral relations.
The decision reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to deepening strategic cooperation with Sudan, as the Sudanese “Government of Hope” prepared 100 strategic partnership projects valued at over $50 billion, spanning sectors such as agriculture, industry, energy, mining, education, health, and ports. These projects aim to foster sustainable development and support both countries’ economies.
This step aligns with ongoing efforts to enhance economic and developmental cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Sudan, contributing to shared goals, stability, and regional prosperity.
