
The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that, as part of the government’s commitment to enhancing bilateral relations and constructive cooperation with the United States, Foreign Minister and Minister of International Cooperation Ambassador Mohieddin Salem Ahmed is making an official visit to Washington, D.C., at the invitation of the U.S. government.
In a statement issued on Friday, the ministry said the visit comes within the framework of ongoing efforts to advance relations between Khartoum and Washington and to continue dialogue on issues of mutual concern, including support for peace in Sudan, the strengthening of economic and humanitarian cooperation, and discussions on rebuilding relations on the basis of mutual respect and shared interests.
