
Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel-Atti and Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman met to discuss recent developments in Sudan.
According to an Egyptian Foreign Ministry statement, Abdel-Atti reaffirmed Egypt’s commitment to supporting Sudan’s unity, stability, and national institutions.
He condemned the “horrific atrocities” in Al-Fashir and stressed the necessity of launching a humanitarian path to ensure unhindered aid delivery.
He also emphasized the importance of regional and international efforts to support a comprehensive ceasefire and create conditions for a broad political process that fulfills the aspirations of the Sudanese people.
