Al-Burhan: Eliminating the Militia Is an Irreversible Path
Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, praised the significant roles consistently played by the people of Al-Qutaynah, along with their continuous support for the Sudanese Armed Forces and the protection of the state. He highlighted the symbolic importance of the region in preparing fighters.
Addressing the residents of Al-Qutaynah in White Nile State after Friday prayers at the Grand Mosque, Al-Burhan affirmed the determination of the Armed Forces and supporting units to defeat the rebellious militia and eradicate it completely. He stressed that this path is irreversible until the militia is eliminated and every inch of the homeland is cleansed.
Al-Burhan pledged to continue the path for which large numbers of martyrs sacrificed their lives—martyrs who, he said, made history and earned the salute of the Sudanese people.
