Al-Burhan Praises Medical Staff at Al-Nou Hospital

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, on Saturday paid an inspection visit to Al-Nou Teaching Hospital in Omdurman, where he was received by the hospital’s director, Dr. Jamal Al-Tayeb.
The Sovereignty Council chairman toured the various wards and departments of the hospital and reviewed the level of health services and medical care provided to patients.
He expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation for the pioneering role and great efforts made by the medical and health staff at the hospital, and for their continued provision of healthcare and treatment for the wounded amid the difficult circumstances Sudan is going through.
Al-Burhan also congratulated Dr. Jamal Al-Tayeb, Director of Al-Nou Teaching Hospital in Omdurman, on receiving the 2025 Aurora Humanitarian Award, in recognition of his major efforts and dedication in providing medical and healthcare services to the citizens of Khartoum State during the war.
