The Coordination of Sudanese National Forces has announced a major mass rally to be held in the British capital, London, next Saturday, coinciding with the National Alignment Day in support of the Sudanese Armed Forces at home and abroad.
The event comes as part of a broader global mobilization by Sudanese communities to condemn foreign interference in the ongoing war in Sudan.
The demonstration—scheduled from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. GMT—aims to denounce the United Arab Emirates over its alleged military and logistical support to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), which stand accused of committing ethnic cleansing, sexual violence, and widespread abuses against civilians, in addition to destroying Sudanese cities and targeting civilian infrastructure.
Organizers say the protest also seeks to highlight what the Coordination describes as the UAE’s “blatant intervention” in Sudanese affairs and its violation of the country’s sovereignty through financing and arming the Janjaweed forces, a move they claim has exacerbated the humanitarian catastrophe and expanded the conflict.
The rally will take place in front of the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in London.
Dr. Hashim Abdullah Mokhtar, Deputy Chairman of the Coordination and Head of External Mobilization, said the demonstration comes at a critical moment requiring Sudanese abroad “to raise their voices in defense of their homeland and expose those responsible for tearing Sudan apart and committing atrocities against its people.”
He added that the global alignment of Sudanese communities sends “a clear message to the international community on the urgent need to halt foreign interference and ensure real accountability for those backing the crimes taking place in the country.”
The Coordination called on all members of the Sudanese diaspora and supporters of justice and human rights across the UK and Europe to participate widely in the demonstration, reaffirming national unity and rejecting any violation of Sudan’s sovereignty.
