Speaking from inside the Republican Palace, General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, said that victory is drawing near, stressing that the Sudanese people will be partners in this victory in what he described as the “Battle of Dignity.”
Al-Burhan paid tribute to the sacrifices of the Sudanese Armed Forces and allied forces, praising their role in defending the country and safeguarding its sovereignty. He also commended political forces he described as committed to the national cause for standing alongside the Sudanese people and the armed forces at this critical stage.
He reaffirmed that the doors of national reconciliation remain open, welcoming all those willing to join what he called “the voice of the nation and truth” and to work collectively for Sudan’s future.
Al-Burhan emphasized the leadership’s commitment to building a state based on homeland and citizenship, and to fulfilling the Sudanese people’s aspirations for freedom, peace, and justice. He reiterated support for the people and their revolution, and for their legitimate pursuit of a better future.
In a firm message, al-Burhan said, “Those who have betrayed their country and sold it will not prevail,” adding that those who relied on illusions and external support will see their ambitions fail on Sudanese soil.
