The renegade Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia has arrested three school principals in Wad Bandah locality, West Kordofan State, shut down several Quranic khalwas (religious schools), imposed financial fees on students, and forced teachers to work without pay under direct threat.
Local sources, cited by Asdaa Sudanese, described these practices as crimes against humanity, reflecting a systematic policy aimed at destroying the future of coming generations by striking at the very core of education and turning educational institutions into tools of extortion and coercion. These developments come amid a state of security breakdown in the area, in the absence of any deterrent authority or protection for civilians.
