Prime Minister Calls on International Organizations to Return to Khartoum

Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris has called on all international organizations, bodies, diplomatic missions, United Nations agencies and specialized institutions, as well as non-governmental organizations, to resume their activities from the capital, Khartoum. He noted that Khartoum has now become calm, secure, protected, and victorious, thanks to God and to the sacrifices and steadfast efforts of the Sudanese Armed Forces, along with the resilience of the Sudanese people.

During his visit on Sunday to the headquarters of the Ministry of Finance in Khartoum State, the Prime Minister expressed his satisfaction with the unity of the ministry’s leadership and staff behind the country’s top leadership. He praised the efforts of employees in keeping state institutions functioning and in preparing the environment for the comprehensive return to Khartoum.

Dr. Idris emphasized that the return of the Ministry of Finance and other ministries to operate from the heart of Khartoum carries significant meanings and powerful messages to Sudanese citizens both inside the country and abroad—affirming that Khartoum is now stable and calling on everyone to return and resume their activities from within the capital.
