The Khartoum State Committee for Maintaining Security and Enforcing State Authority affirmed its firm response to any attempt to undermine citizens’ security or obstruct its missions.
The committee’s fourth meeting of the year was chaired on Monday by Defence Minister Lieutenant General Hassan Daoud Kabroun, with the participation of Interior Minister Lieutenant General Babiker Samra and Police Director General Lieutenant General Amir Abdel Moneim.
The meeting reviewed the performance of subcommittees and assessed the implementation of the committee’s plan to secure Khartoum State through its various operational tracks.
The committee was briefed on the completion of the collection of recovered stolen property belonging to citizens from East Nile locality police stations, stored in a designated hall under the supervision of the Public Prosecution, in preparation for returning the items to their owners in accordance with regulations. The committee approved extending the experience to other localities.
According to police press office reports, the committee directed all subcommittees to continue their duties aimed at enforcing security, achieving stability, and reassuring citizens about the security situation in Khartoum State.
