Sudanese Army Strikes Militia Supply Lines Near the Chadian Border

The Sudanese army carried out airstrikes on Thursday in the border area of Adikong near Chad.

Military sources told Ultra Sudan that Sudanese forces used drones to strike locations in the Adikong border area simultaneously with the temporary opening of the Adre crossing for several hours.

According to the sources, the strikes targeted a fuel shipment that was on its way to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia.

They added that the aircraft also struck a fuel market in the area that RSF forces had been using for supplies.

The sources further revealed that petroleum products had recently been transported into the area using donkey-drawn carts after fuel tankers previously delivering supplies through the border and desert to the Darfur region were targeted.

Eyewitnesses reported that the airstrike hit a market in the Adikong area, causing significant material damage. No civilian casualties or injuries have been reported so far.

Residents also circulated video clips documenting the moment Sudanese military aircraft bombed the market in Adikong on Thursday morning, with fires breaking out in the market following the strike.
