The United Nations Population Fund is ready to support health in Sudan

The Country Director of the United Nations Population Fund in Sudan, Mr. Mohamed Al-Amin, confirmed the Fund’s readiness to support the capabilities of the Federal Ministry, medical personnel and auxiliary personnel.
During the meeting with the Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Muhammad Ibrahim, in Dr. Al-Amin’s office in Port Sudan, he revealed the arrival of some aids, and others will arrive during the coming months of October and November, with regard to the pharmaceutical supply.
While the Minister pointed out clear plans to improve the health situation in all states, and to continue providing the service to citizens, especially the states with dense populations after the displacement of citizens due to the war.
Dr. Ibrahim pointed out the need to work together and intervene to bridge the gap, in addition to working with the states affected by the war (Darfur and Khartoum states).
