The French Federation Refuses to Loan Women’s Coach to Ivory Coast

On Friday, the French Football Federation rejected Ivory Coast’s request to obtain the services of women’s national team coach Hervé Renard to lead the Elephants’ national team in its journey at the African Nations Championship, which it is hosting.

The Football Federation of Ivory Coast asked France to obtain the services of a “temporary loan” for the technical director of the women’s national team, coach Renard, to lead the team following the dismissal of coach Jean-Louis Gasset due to the disappointing results and the disastrous loss to Equatorial Guinea 0-4.
