Agriculture Minister Reviews Obstacles Facing Sector

The Acting Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Dr. Abu Bakr Omar Al-Bushra, has announced the ministry’s keenness to encourage national investments in the agricultural sector.
During his visit to the northern state, the Minister reviewed the challenges facing the agricultural sector in the northern state, in addition to the capabilities that the state enjoys in all areas of production, and got reassured about the agricultural season in the state.
He reviewed the agricultural project “Hafeer Mashu” and listened to the most important problems and obstacles facing farmers. He was reassured about the cultivation of horse beans production in the Al-Salim Basin, and promised to help removing all obstacles. He praised the pivotal irrigation operations of Al-Zubarah Wheat Cultivation Company.
During his visit to Muawiyah Al-Barir Company (MOB Agricultural Production Company), which produces South African mangoes, grapes, bananas, wheat and cotton. He expressed his satisfaction with the high productivity.
