Sinnar: Understandings to Resolve Revenue Cross-cuttings

The Revenue Review Committee between localities and ministries in Sinnar State has reached advanced understandings to resolve revenue intersections in the joint account.

Magdi Brair Al-Hassan, Director of the Local Governance Chamber and Chairman of the Committee, stressed in a press statement the importance of the، Committee’s work to resolve the outstanding problems, indicating that the Committee addressed the recommendations of the meetings related to the resource-sharing clause. The Committee initially approved the application of Paragraph 36, Table No. 3, Clause 7 of the Local Governance Act, 2018, which stipulates “Fees of housing plans and land allocation for residential, commercial, agricultural, service, industrial and investment purposes, and all land transactions, the locality share is 40%. The issue of resolving the land and buildings was also postponed to the next meeting in the Dindir locality until all parties are present. The committee stressed the need to activate the role of strategic planning in developing immediate and future plans to benefit from the components of Sinnar State and its multiple resources for the benefit of the economy and future of the state, in addition to submitting a proposal to update the Local Governance Act, 2018.
