Demands to include communications shutdown with RSF’s crimes

Sudan’s Minister of Communications and Digital Transformation, Adel Hassan, called for the issue of shutting down communications and the internet in the country to be included in the Rapid Support Forces crimes file.
During his meeting (Wednesday), the Minister of Communications and Digital Transformation, the Attorney General of the Republic of Sudan, Al-Fatih Tayfour, revealed the damage that resulted from the shutdown of communications networks by the Rapid Support Militia.
According to the Sudan News Agency, the Minister of Communications and Digital Transformation, during his meeting with the Attorney General of the Republic of Sudan, Al-Fatih Tayfour, demanded that this case be included in the file of crimes committed by the Rapid Support Forces against the Sudanese people.
Adel Hassan stressed that communications have become the backbone of life in our current era, and its cessation has harmed all the Sudanese people, state institutions, and the private sector, and its cessation is considered a crime against humanity.
