Campaign Launch to combat Agricultural Pests in Sudan

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry announced the launch of an aerial spraying campaign for pests. It confirmed the technical and logistical readiness to launch the major campaign to combat national pests.
Dr Abu Bakr Omar Al-Bushra, the Acting Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, said that all preparations were completed for the launch of the campaign, and the aerial spraying process began on September 29 in the state of Al-Jazira, praising the response of the Ministry of Finance and National Economy to the campaign by providing all aids to make it successful.
Dr. Al-Bashri confirmed that despite the circumstances the country is going through, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry was able to advance the agricultural season towards the desired goals, stressing that this campaign will cover all states of Sudan to maintain production this season, during which the Ministry focused on grain crops to provide food security.
