Kaiserslauter ends Saarbrücken’s adventure in the German Cup

The Kaiserslautern team ended the adventure of the Saarbrücken team, one of the German third division clubs, in the German Cup, knocking it out of the semi-finals after beating it 2-0 on Tuesday evening.
Kaiserslautern scored a brace through its players, Marlon Ritter in the 53rd minute and Almamy Toure in the 75th minute of the match.
The third division team defeated Borussia Mönchengladbach 2-1 in the quarter-finals to reach the semi-finals of the tournament.
The home team had previously eliminated Bayern Munich and Eintracht Frankfurt in previous rounds of the tournament, continuing its adventure against the major teams in Germany.
Bayer Leverkusen will face Fortuna Dusseldorf, competing in the second division, in the other semi-final match on Wednesday, with the winner of the match facing its counterpart Kaiserslautern in the final.
