Guardiola: The City star is ready for Real Madrid

The Spanish Pep Guardiola, coach of Manchester City, gave good news to his team’s fans, before the expected confrontation with Real Madrid next Wednesday, at the Etihad Stadium, in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.
Belgian star, Kevin De Bruyne, missed the first leg, which was held at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, in the Spanish capital, Madrid.
But he participated for 81 minutes in the next confrontation against Luton Town (5-1), in the English Premier League.
Regarding the veteran midfielder’s position on the Merengue match, “De Bruyne is completely ready to play the Real Madrid match.” Guardiola said on Monday in a brief statement.
Guardiola is expected to start with De Bruyne tomorrow in the starting lineup, while City seeks to qualify for the Champions League semi-finals, after a draw in the first leg (3-3).
