You are Right, Dr. Muzamil Abu Al-Qasim
By: Ambassador Abdullah Al-Azraq
Only stubborn denies the great sacrifices our army has made in confronting the Zayed Sons militia and its backers who are FFC as they betray Sudan.
It is enough for the army to be proud that the lives of its leaders rose in sacrifice for its people and country.
One of the features, even benefits, of this treachery is that it united the people behind its armed forces, so they sacrificed everything they had in appreciation of their great sacrifices.
It is enough to mention that honorable citizens dug a trench four meters deep and six meters wide extending from the west of Merowe Governorate to beyond Al-Dabbah, with a length of 200 kilometers. They donated machinery, fuel, and food, and did not cost the army a single penny.
Everywhere in Sudan, young people rushed to train for resistance until the fields became exhausted. They came in thousands after thousands. With all the enthusiasm, drive and energy of youth. Sensing the danger besetting the homeland. Most of them are still waiting for weapons for months.
In Gedaref, the nobles bought weapons, donated large numbers of pick up cars, and equipped the army with supplies and food.
Many cities did the same.
Armies always need the support of the people.
The volunteers in the resistance proved their honesty when confronting the enemy and performed the best in the Special Action Forces and elsewhere.
Armies, by their nature, are heavy in movement. They fight according to the scientific foundations that their officers learned in college. They also carefully calculate their movements to avoid losses and inflict the greatest losses on the enemy. Therefore, it must have complete equipment and supplies, and it cannot tolerate the lack of a “nut,” and if it loses it, it stops until “replacement” is completed.
This is in contrast to the volunteer resistance, as has been proven in all the wars of the world, and we in Sudan experienced it in this war and in the war in the south. So armies depend on such adventurers, resistance men and those who are good at guerrilla warfare.
On the other hand, the Dagalo sons gang is waging its war, supported by the UAE’s supply of mercenaries, equipment and money. It is waging a war without laws, without rules, and without morals. So, a week ago, they killed 14 young men in the village of Al-Harqa, and one killed 8 young men yesterday in the village of Wad Al-Munir. They plunder, rape, and destroy private and public property.
It has been proven that the gang’s dirty fires can only be extinguished by the anger of these resistance fighters due to their rapid movement, guerrilla activity, and risk-taking.
Perhaps the most dangerous thing about wars is getting used to their tragedies, because that extinguishes the fire of revenge against an oppressive enemy.
Unfortunately, some of that habit has begun to take hold in us. This would not have happened had the leadership not killed the flame of that flame of resistance by being slow to arm it, despite its readiness for redemption and sacrifice.
I was surprised that the members of the Supreme Committee for Popular Resistance on Gezira had to go to Burhan to beg him for weapons for the resistance. It is as if he does not know what has befallen the people on Gezira , and he needs the arrivals of newcomers to remind him!!!
A second source of astonishment is that Al-Burhan and his companions have been promising us for weeks that a decision will be reached, but we see fanfare and not grinding. This is despite the thousands of soldiers surrounding Gezira and stationed for months, saying that they are ready, and that they are waiting for instructions to move that are not issued!!!
We have written and many others have written, the most recent of whom was Professor Muzamil Abu al-Qasim, wondering who would support the popular resistance by not arming it. The question still insists on an answer.
If a fire were blown, it would be lit
But you blow on ashes; This is what I fear, Professor Muzamil.
What is happening gives the impression that the leadership is listening to the enemy, and is ignoring what we, the supporters of the army, say, who consider ourselves honest advisors, and we do so with complete impartiality, seeking only to support one homeland that has no other. and Allah sees what i say. Hence this is the strangest leadership !!!
It seems that Al-Burhan and his companions do not realize that this “overlooking” and this ignoring of the calls of patriots will not have a good outcome, neither for them nor for the country.
How can I be convinced of the sincerity of Lieutenant General Yasser Al-Atta when he declares that the state has been hijacked and shackled by elements of the Janjaweed and the oppressed in its vital facilities, and then does nothing to remove the restrictions that shackle the state? Note that he was personally responsible for the empowerment eradication committee that empowered these elements in state facilities. It seems that Yasser Al-Atta is numbing us with emotional, populist rhetoric and nothing more!!!
How can we trust that the leadership is serious about mobilizing the popular resistance and then does not arm it for months, but rather the Kabashi team declares what weakens its strength and weakens its morale!!!
How can we trust the leadership when the soldiers have been stationed for months and ready to move towards the civilians and villages of the Gezira when no instructions are issued to them!!!
I have a homeland that I decided not to sell
And I will not see anyone else as owner of eternity
I knew its youthful charm and grace
Like a blessing for a people who have fallen under your shadow
The soul has become so familiar with it that it is as if it were
It has a body that would have perished
And he endeared men’s homelands to them
The goals of the youth were spent there
