The Sheikh Zayed Misdemeanor Court of Appeal in Cairo rejected the appeal submitted by the artist Sherine Abdel Wahab against the ruling fining her five thousand pounds, in the case of insulting, slandering, and defaming the producer Mohamed Al-Shaer.
On March 9, 2024, the Sheikh Zayed Misdemeanor Court ruled to convict and fine Sherine Abdel Wahab of 5,000 pounds for attacking the producer Muhammad Al-Shaer, the court explained in the terms of its ruling that the accusation was confirmed after the technical examination report prepared by specialists at the Ministry of Interior.
Sherine verbally assaulted producer Mohammed Al-Shaer last year, insulting, slandering, and defaming her during a press conference held after one of her concerts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Sherine previously accused Al-Shaer of stealing her private pages on various social networking sites. She also accused him of violating the rights to her songs and unfairly benefiting from them financially.
In the artistic field, the artist Sherine Abdel Wahab is scheduled to give a concert at the Coca-Cola Arena Theater in Dubai next June, accompanied by the artist Hussein Al Jasmi.
