With Deterioration of Sudanese Pound .. Prices of sacrificial supplies rise

With the coming of Eid al-Adha, the prices of sacrificial supplies (sheet metal, grill, brazier, spices) witnessed a noticeable increase with the rise in the prices of Sudanese sheep in Cairo and their prices doubled compared to Eid al-Adha last year and the condolences of merchants in Al-Baragil) area where Sudanese meat and sheep are sold, the prices rose due to the prolongation of the war in Sudan and the impact of the repercussions of the war on livestock production areas, which led to a decrease in imports from Sudan to the Arab Republic of Egypt, pointed out that prices are increasing day after day and differed this year from the previous year, as the prices of the sacrificial animal did not exceed (7,000) Egyptian pounds, at the same time the price of the Egyptian pound was equivalent to SDGs 21, while this year the Egyptian pound exceeded the SDGs 39-barrier, while the prices of sheep ranged between 13,000 and 15,000 Egyptian pounds.
In the shops of utensils and sacrificial supplies, prices witnessed a noticeable increase, as the price of a medium-sized brazier reached 500 While the price of a sheet known as (saaj) was recorded at 320 in Sudanese products stores in the Faisal area, and a grilled meat was recorded at 400 pounds, and the price of a kilo of coriander rose from 100 to180 , and a kilo of red pepper ( spicy)was 200, while the prices of dry okra ( weika)doubled from 250 pounds per kilo to 500 pounds, and a kilo of peans butter ( dakwa) was recorded at 170 pounds.
