Senior sources told “Asharq” that Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed announced his desire to mediate between the President of the Sovereignty Council TSC Commander in chief of the Army SAF, Lt. Gen. Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, and the Commander of the Rapid Support RSF Militia, Mohamed Hamdan Daglo “Hemedti”.
Abiy Ahmed had visited Port Sudan on Tuesday and held talks with Burhan that discussed the Sudanese crisis.
