Elliott: I need to forget what I learned under Klopp

Liverpool player Harvey Elliott is looking forward to taking on more responsibility within the team, under the leadership of new coach Arne Slot.
“Time has gone by so quickly… It has been an incredible 5 years, and I hope more will come. I need to keep working hard and keep focusing. I have loved every minute of it. I want to play more games this season. I feel that I am at the age where I now need to take on a lot of responsibility. It is up to me now to go out and do it. This season will be big for me.” Elliott said.
“It is one of the challenges, where you need to forget what you have learned in the last two years (under Jurgen Klopp) and learn new things. You always have to adapt and be a better player.” Elliott commented.
“It’s very different for obvious reasons, new management, new staff, new style of play. We’re all trying to get a grip on it, but we’ve had a few weeks now, played a game at Liverpool and I feel the players are settling in really well.” Elliott said.
