Real Madrid assistant coach Davide Ancelotti has advised his father Carlo, the club’s technical director, on choosing a replacement for Toni Kroos, who retired from football after Euro 2024. Davide Ancelotti still trusts Dani Ceballos, the team’s midfielder, and believes he is the best replacement for Kroos in the ranks of the Merengue. Ancelotti’s son believes that Ceballos has great quality, and he also works hard on the field when asked to do so.
She pointed out that Ceballos was unlucky when he started last season injured, but he has been training hard for several months now, and hopes to have a great season. Davide told Carlo Ancelotti: “Ceballos is very good, if he has enough enthusiasm he can help us a lot.” Ceballos and his agents were listening to offers from several interested clubs this summer, but they ultimately decided to stay at Real Madrid next season.
