Real Madrid’s interest in signing Rabiot

Recently, there has been talk of Real Madrid’s interest in acquiring the services of former Juventus star Adrien Rabiot.

Rabiot’s contract with Juventus expired at the end of last June, and he became available for free during the current summer Mercato. Both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid have already explored the possibility of signing the French international, but in the end they decided not to advance the negotiations. Rabiot has ongoing contacts with clubs in the English Premier League, as Arsenal, led by coach Mikel Arteta, was studying the French player’s file, as a replacement for Mikel Merino, Real Sociedad’s midfielder, but he also backed down from this idea.

As for Manchester United and Liverpool, they continue to hold informal talks to find out the extent of Rabiot’s readiness to play in the Premier League.
