Sudan Is our partner and we will not negotiate over GERD forever, Says Egyptian Irrigation Minister

Egyptian Minister of Irrigation, Dr. Hani Suwailem had affirmed that Sudan is their essential partner in GERD negotiations in the last 12 years.

He revealed, in armored conference held today, a bilateral agreement between Egypt and Ethiopia to enter into negotiations to reach an agreement within 4 months, war it that they will not negotiate forever, hoping that they strike a legal, just and binding deal.

It is worth noting that Ethiopia completes last month the fourth filling of GERD before the end of the negotiations, considering that the process will not affect the downstream countries (Sudan and Egypt).
