22 People Dead or Injured in a Traffic Accident

Eleven people were killed, and 11 others were injured in a traffic accident on the Omdurman–Metemma road in the Arkawit area.

The accident occurred between a Haice minibus coming from the Jakika area and a DAF truck coming from Omdurman in the opposite direction. The accident resulted in the deaths of 10 passengers from the minibus and the truck driver. The injured were taken to Jakika Hospital for treatment.
