Inter Milan Edges Past Young Boys in a Close Match
Italian team Inter Milan achieved a narrow victory over their Swiss hosts Young Boys with a goal in the dying moments of their third round UEFA Champions League match on Wednesday.
French striker Marco Thuram scored the only goal for Inter Milan in the third minute of stoppage time in the second half.
Earlier, his teammate, Austrian Marko Arnautović, missed a penalty just three minutes into the second half.
Inter Milan secured their second consecutive victory, raising their points total to 7 in seventh place, ahead of their match against English Arsenal in the fourth round at the beginning of November.
Meanwhile, Young Boys remains in 35th place, second to last with no points after three consecutive losses against Aston Villa, Barcelona, and now Inter Milan, and they will visit Shakhtar Donetsk in the fourth round.
