Bayern Munich Fans Boycott Shakhtar Match Over Ticket Prices

Bayern Munich supporters have significantly reduced their demand for tickets for the upcoming Champions League match against Shakhtar Donetsk due to ticket prices. Bayern announced that ticket requests dropped from 50,000 to 19,000 for the game on December 10 in Gelsenkirchen, where Shakhtar hosts their Champions League games.
Bayern’s fan group “Südkurve” called for a boycott, citing that the dynamic pricing model, combined with a high base price, led to steep prices. Bayern fans face costs of 105 euros per ticket, compared to Atalanta fans’ 28 euros and Young Boys’ 31 euros for similar Shakhtar matches.
