Sudan to Participate CECAFA Junior League

Sudanese Football Association announced on Sunday the participation of the U-18 junior team in the “CECAFA” championship organized by the East and Central African Federation from September 25 to December 9 in the Kenyan city of Kisumu.

Magdy Shams El-Din, lawyer and Secretary-General of the Sudanese Federation, said that the approval came on the recommendation of the National Teams Committee and the Board of Directors despite the war conditions in the country.
Approval of Sudan National Union came as response to the letter addressed CECAFA  regarding the refusal or acceptance of participation in the tournament.
