Al-Atta: Sudan Will Not Fall Despite the Bitter Struggles and Tribulations

Member of the Sovereignty Council and Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Army, General Yasser Al-Atta, affirmed that victories will continue, and soon, the entire country will be purified, removing every trace of rebellion and defeating the terrorist militia.
He said, “The Armed Forces have resolved to bring back smiles across our land,” and confirmed that Sudan will not fall, despite the hardships and tribulations. “The nation of glories and noble ancestors will not be humiliated or brought down,” he added. “At the same time, we feel the pain of our people’s suffering in the war, which will not last much longer.”
Al-Atta, while addressing an impromptu public gathering of Khartoum residents to celebrate the liberation of Sennar City, capital of Sinnar State, from the terrorist militia of Al-Diqlo, in the presence of Khartoum Governor Ahmed Osman Hamza, praised the Armed Forces, other regular forces, and the mobilized for their successive victories in the battle for dignity against traitors and agents. He commended the Sudanese people’s support for the forces as they carry out their national duty.
He also praised the forces and mobile units of Sennar for achieving a significant victory, which will be crowned by the full liberation of the Gezira State and all areas of Sudan.
On his part, Khartoum Governor Ahmed Osman Hamza confirmed that the victories have brought joy to the Sudanese people, who have long suffered from the violations of the militias. He also praised the Armed Forces, other regular forces, and the mobilized for their remarkable sacrifices. He expressed appreciation for the people of Khartoum who spontaneously took to the streets to celebrate the Armed Forces’ victories, and for the states of Sudan that stood firm against the rebellion and supported their Armed Forces.
The Governor promised the residents of the state that they would soon return to their areas after the Armed Forces made significant progress across all fronts, and that services would be restored, normalizing civilian life.
