La Liga: Mbappe and Bellingham Lead Real Madrid to 3-0 Victory Over Leganés

Kylian Mbappé ended his goal drought with a powerful shot, and midfielder Jude Bellingham scored a header as Real Madrid won 3-0 against Leganés in La Liga on Sunday.

Leganés’ solid defense kept the score level throughout the first half, but the visitors took the lead three minutes before the break when Vinícius Júnior exchanged passes with Mbappé, who scored his seventh league goal of the season.

Real Madrid dominated possession for most of the second half, with Uruguayan midfielder Federico Valverde scoring from a free kick after Bellingham was fouled in the 66th minute.

The English international sealed the win with a header five minutes before the end.

With a game in hand, Real Madrid sits second in the standings with 30 points, four behind Barcelona, who drew 2-2 with Celta Vigo on Saturday.
