Davis Cup: Italy Defeats Netherlands to Retain Title

Italy retained their Davis Cup title with a 2-0 win over the Netherlands, thanks to a brilliant performance from Jannik Sinner in Malaga, southern Spain, on Sunday.

After Matteo Berrettini defeated Botic van de Zandschulp 6-4, 6-2 in the first singles match, world number one Jannik Sinner triumphed 7-6, 6-2 over Tallon Griekspoor to secure the title for Italy.

This victory marked Italy’s third Davis Cup title, following their first win in 1976, and they successfully defended their crown.
