Juventus escapes Aston Villa’s last-minute sting
Juventus managed to secure a thrilling 0-0 draw against Aston Villa in a match held at Villa Park on Wednesday, in the fifth round of the Champions League group stage.
The home team almost won the match with a last-minute goal in the 90+4 minute, but video technology saved Juventus by disallowing the goal due to a foul.
This draw lifted Villa’s tally to 10 points, placing them 9th in the group standings, while Juventus reached 8 points, sitting in 19th place.
