Sudan Events – Follow-ups
Member of the Sovereign Council and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lt. Gen. Shams al-Din Kabbashi, visited the eastern region of Gedaref State to review the ongoing military operations.
He was received by Brigadier General Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Amas, Commander of the Eastern Military Region.
Kabbashi was briefed on the progress of the military operations and praised the high morale of the officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers in the region, highlighting the great sacrifices they made in the Battle of Dignity in pursuit of achieving security and stability for the citizens.
He conveyed the congratulations of the political and military leadership on the recent major victories.
