Memorandum of Understanding Signed Between the “Sudanese Mineral Resources” and Red Sea University

The Sudanese Mineral Resources Company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Red Sea University for mutual cooperation in various fields. The agreement was signed by the General Director of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company, Mohamed Taher Omar, and the Director of the University, Dr. Abdelkader Al-Badawi.
During the signing ceremony, Mohamed Taher Omar, the General Director of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company, praised the important role played by Red Sea University in serving the Sudanese community, especially in the eastern part of the country. He emphasized the importance of cooperation between the company and the university, particularly in research and scientific studies related to mining. Mohamed Taher also highlighted the necessity of activating the roles of colleges and community centers in combating hate speech within the state communities to achieve greater stability.
For his part, Dr. Abdelkader Al-Badawi, the Director of Red Sea University, revealed that the university is hosting 16 universities from across Sudan, with a student population of 30,000 across various fields and specializations. He emphasized the importance of mutual cooperation between the university and the company and mentioned that the university has six research centers and several study centers that could be utilized in the mining sector.
