Completion of Solar Energy Systems Installation for Villages in South Gezira

Sudan Events – Follow-ups
With full funding from the Governor of Gezira State, Taher Ibrahim Al-Khair, and in commitment to the promise he made during his recent visit to the city of Wad Al-Haddad after it was liberated from militia remnants, the installation of a complete solar energy system for water stations in 10 villages was completed as the first phase. This was done through the Civil Support Committee of the Popular Resistance in the state.
A delegation from Gezira State, led by the retired Major General Azhari Khalafallah, head of the Civil Support Committee, visited the areas to assess the damage caused by the militias to water stations, electricity, and health facilities in villages like Faris, Mazqeela, Umm Dalkah, Smitbar, Gandal, Dongola, Douma, Wad Al-Bukhari, and Banga. The solar energy system was installed for the water stations in these villages, and this step received positive feedback from the residents of these areas.
