The Sudanese Air Force launched airstrikes targeting Rapid Support Forces (RSF) gatherings at Jebel Amer gold mines.
A medical source at Kabkabiya Hospital told Darfur 24 that several dead and injured individuals arrived in the city on Saturday evening following an airstrike on the Jebel Amer mine, located north of Sarif town.
The source confirmed the death of seven individuals and injuries to four others, who were transferred to the city’s hospital and health centers for treatment.
Meanwhile, a local leader in Kabkabiya stated that the air force conducted six air raids on a gathering at the outskirts of Jebel Amer, resulting in casualties among RSF personnel.
The leader noted that air raids on Jebel Amer have been ongoing for months, causing the mine to cease operations and miners to flee due to fear of further strikes.
