The Military Capabilities Platform, affiliated with the Sudanese army, has reported that Sudanese military bases near the Chadian border were attacked using precision-guided strikes by strategic drones.
According to the platform, on February 2, between 5:00 and 6:00 PM, “the state of Chad” once again launched an attack on Sudanese military bases through direct bombardment of Sudanese forces.
The platform confirmed that an examination of collected debris revealed similarities with the MAM-L missile, which is launched from Anka-S and Anka Aksungur drones. The movement of these drones had previously been tracked by the Sudanese Armed Forces’ motion pattern analysis system in N’Djamena.
It added that the MAM-L missile’s circular diameter of 160 mm (approximately 6.3 inches) matches the diameter of the recovered projectile debris. The missile is designed to balance destructive power while minimizing collateral damage.
