Rodrygo: Thank You for the Saudi Offers… I Want to Stay at Real Madrid for Years

Real Madrid forward Rodrygo has expressed gratitude for the interest shown by other clubs but reaffirmed his desire to remain with the Spanish champions for many more years.
The 24-year-old Brazilian international has scored 12 goals and provided eight assists in 31 appearances across all competitions this season.
Reports suggest that Rodrygo received lucrative mid-season offers from clubs in the Saudi Pro League.
Speaking to reporters on Monday, Rodrygo said: “The offers from Saudi clubs are mostly handled by my father since he is my agent, and they also involve the club. I don’t know many details. I’m very grateful for the interest from other clubs, but I’m extremely happy at Real Madrid. I’ve been here for a long time, and I always say that playing in the Champions League wearing this shirt is truly special.”
Rodrygo’s current contract with Real Madrid runs until 2028.
Real Madrid is set to face Manchester City away on Tuesday in the first leg of their Champions League playoff match, following their failure to secure direct qualification to the Round of 16 under the competition’s new format.
