Al-Burhan: Martyr Bahar Actively Participated in the War of Dignity Without Complaint or Harm

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, offered condolences on Wednesday evening to the family of the martyr Major General Bahar Ahmed Bahar in Omdurman.

Al-Burhan was accompanied by Sovereignty Council member and Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Yasser Abdel Rahman Al-Atta, and Chief of Staff, General Mohamed Othman Al-Hussein.

The Commander-in-Chief praised the sacrifices and bravery of the martyrs of the armed forces and the martyrs of the War of Dignity, who gave everything to defend the country’s land, flag, and achievements. He affirmed that the armed forces would remain a strong shield against anyone who threatens Sudan’s security and stability, and he reiterated his commitment to liberating the country from mercenaries and agents and eliminating the Dagalo militia.

Al-Burhan also commended the martyr, stating that he was among the first to participate actively and selflessly in the War of Dignity without complaint or harm, serving as a role model for all Sudanese. He added that such individuals deserve the highest honor and gratitude.
