Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Omar Siddiq, received the Egyptian Ambassador to Sudan, Hany Salah, on Wednesday in Port Sudan. The meeting reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them in the mutual interest of both nations.
The Minister conveyed the Sudanese political leadership’s gratitude to the Arab Republic of Egypt for its coordination with Sudan and its growing role in supporting Sudan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. He also praised Egypt’s major efforts in backing the Sudanese government in international forums to achieve peace, security, and stability, and to safeguard Sudan’s sovereignty and national unity.
