Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei expressed concern over developments in Sudan, saying that the announcement of a parallel government was contrary to the principles of national sovereignty and territorial integrity, warning of its devastating impact on the country’s stability and security.
Speaking to reporters in Tehran, Baghaei stressed the need to respect Sudan’s unity and territorial integrity, describing continued foreign interference in its affairs as extremely dangerous. He said the solution to Sudan’s crisis lies in halting the conflict and launching Sudanese-led talks without foreign intervention.
